V. Teaching Procedure

Step 1:Warming up

1. Greet the students

2.Show students a video of the living conditions of people in different countries and ask the students to disscuss on the topic “What is the most important system in our life?”

Step 2:Pre-reading

Ask students to look at the title and predict what the passage is about.

Step 3: While-reading

Activity1: Ask students to to read the passage for the first time and try to find out How many countries are mentioned in the passage.

Activity2: Ask students to read the passage for the second time and work in groups to find out the differences about healthy care system in the three countries.

Step 4: Post-reading

Ask students try to retell the passage according to the key information and key words on the blackboard.

Step 5: Summary and Homework

①　Invite one student to work as an assistant to summarize what we have learned today.

②　Give students a homework :Search on the internet to find out some information about Chinese healthy care system.
